Early scheme – March 2021

In March 2021 we were commissioned by the Long Beach Convention Center to design a sign for the renamining of the city’s performing arts plaza to honor former three-term Mayor Beverly O’Neill. We conceived it as an “elongated stage” with letters suspended in space, against the background of a “cyclorama” made out of a stainless steel mesh illuminated from within.
